Nice!
Boo and I parked at Wooded Hills this morning...We arrived at about 9:45 and it was 39 degrees. We rode for about 3 hours, got back to the truck and it had warmed up to a balmy 41 degrees!
We only saw a couple other people out there in the Lagunas today..awesome.

I think I was on the trail around 10:30, probably was your tracks I saw on Los Gatos. Just saw one hiker as I was heading back to the car at I think it's called the "Meadow Information Center"? Right by the big picnic deck thing where people go sledding. I put my shin pads on to try and get a little warmer lol, I keep telling myself I have to by arm/leg warmers but never seem to remember.

Yeah...most likely, did ya notice a couple sets of neve/high roller combo tracks?
I almost wore my knee/shin guards but didnt. After descending Las Gatos I was seriously considering just turning around and heading out. Glad we didnt, after about 20 minutes of spinning on flat I warmed up but my ears and face stayed cold the whole time.

Was that your bike on the back of the car at school this morning? Damn, I should have guessed. I was looking to ride all day. Wound up doing loops around our canyon, up to the water tank, stuff like that Mt. Laguna woulda been better. It looks wet did it rain on you?

That was me. I was pressed for time but determined to get in a good ride before work so I dropped the girls off at school and headed straight out. Only rode for like an hour and a half when I got out there, but still worth it. I got a few sprinkles on the car ride out but it was nice and sunny up there, just cold.

AM rides before work are awesome, especially if you can commute by bike.

Since the company I used to work for (10 years) was at the top of Lopez trail in PQ, and I lived at the edge of Meadowbrook/TedWillliams, I had the distinct pleasure of commuting to work via the SR56 bike path to Tunnels, down Cobbles or the Shitz, and up Lopez (or Meadowbrook/TW up and down AM/PM hill to the TransCounty trail in Sabre Springs and under I-15 to PQ).

Moondogs winning SDMBA contest photo - daybreak in the Tunnels - that is what I was able to experience a couple of times a week.

That made for one awesome day - especially when my co-workers would go back to Intestines or Tunnels for a semi-quick ride at noon.
