Thats a gnarly one! I didnt see the pictures at work but I cant stop laughing at the macguyver tube sling you have going on there. Good stuff lol

Nah, the sling is legit (triangular bandage properly applied), I just used the tubes for additional immobilization. I usually carry additional triangular bandages just for that purpose, but didn't have them with me this time, so Rob and Dennis sacrificed some rubber for the greater good.

Didn't anyone get the carnage on film?

he lucked out... got the two guys before him and then put my camera away. Definitely cringe worthy anyway... I think everyone that saw it knew he broke his shoulder before he did. Not a vid you'd look back on and laugh at.

Hope you heal quick. You definitely have a rematch in the future w/ that rock.

The real reason why I took off just before it happened... I probably would have freaked out had I been there to see it!

Just don't make the mistake that DirtMonger did and get a bike that doesn't come with a set of balls.

As with some of the common bike injuries (broken wrist, ankle, hand, collarbone), armor can't do much to prevent something like this, unfortunately.

Sucks bro, here's to a complication free surgery and recovery.

Ti or steel, you'll be amazed at how much better you feel a couple days after the surgery. Just try to keep in mind that there's still a bone in there healing so take it easy for awhile and it will heal faster.

Geez Dude, nice pics of the breaks.

Glad you went Ti. Even a non-weight weenie would go Ti. Just way cooler.

Hope to see you at Ratigan's skills clinic.

Heal up Man.
