TR: Putrid Glove and the Secret Stone Cutter Treaders Tour

We all met this morning in the Vons parking lot, and when I say we I am referring to, Ldood, Brett, Seat Sniffer, JJ The Whale, Dirty Boo, and Myself (RHS-just in case you didn't know). It was here where I noticed Brett smelling his gloves wondering if the slight malicious odiferous aroma was coming from them...moments later I witness others glancing around with curiousity as to where the vile and rank, putrid, gaseous malodorous anomoly was permeating from. I fessed up immediatly....as the malfeasant stink was acosting all in the general vacinity, and I wanted it to be known as to not be cowardly that it was in fact coming from mine own gloves. I'm not sure if I can recall the last time I have smelled a stench so foul, so annoyingly pervasive my eyes watered, but not I think from this most displeasant odor, but from the shame knowing I did indeed have another pair, a clean and well scented pair of gloves in my truck. My friends, I am truely sorry to have subjected you to such agony, but you know what they say...."what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger."
Ldood did an awesome job of guiding us around some super sweet singletrack, we twisted and turned and winded around for miles, it was fast and flowy, tight, extended and a blast. I'm not really going to go into too much detail on how we arrinved upon the Secret Stone Cutters entrance to the new portion of trail on tunnels, and I only have a couple pics from near the end of it as I was having way too much fun to stop and be a crappy photog.
I have plenty of pics, but my skillz at shooting sucks so please bear with the resolution or lack thereof, shoddy angles, and poor exposure.....
Onto some pics....
But first I would like to congratulate Seat Sniffer for busting his cherry wide open and hitting some jumps for us...he was an animal, he flew, he soared, he kept going back for more...I am proud of you little Baby Seat Sniffer, you did us and The San Diego Chicken proud...

Boo has more pics, and some video on her camera, and as soon as I stop hogging up the computer she can begin resizing and getting them loaded. Her pics I can almost guarantee will be of much better quality, resolution, framing and exposure than mine.
Thanks for riding with us, it was simply awesome. We rode about 18.68 miles, had a total elevation gain of 1578ft. Brett showed he has some skillz as he was hitting any jump around, very nice!! JJ The Whale proved he could climb like a goat on a crack binge, dooder lead the way and totally hauled ass on all that single track, Seat Sniffer didn't just bust his cherry wide open he ate the damn thing as he launched through the sky, and Dirty Boo put up with my shenanigans, rode very well, did some incredible climbing and was as usual her pleasant self. Thanks again, it was great, and I can't wait to do this ride soon in the near future.

Oh man, did you guys post when you were gonna go I think I probably coulda driven to you all. Nice trail from the looks of it, I went out in the tricanyon area today by my house and got some shots, I will be making one of these threads cuz you inspired my sloth! You do about one a day so I figured I had to get out there! Cool ride guys! Peace

Yeah...just when you think you sky'ed it feeling like your 10' in the air...ya watch the vid and realize it wasn't 10'.
You did great on it dood, nice form, launch and landing.
Even after I got out of the shower, my hands still reek :shock:

I keep an extra pair of gloves JIK I have StinkyGloveSyndrome. I also will use said gloves as a weapon. Anyone gets shitty w you, you just waft/jam the glove in their face. Great shots. That WAS a great ride everyone. I need to work on my downhill speed since you all smoke me on the descents, Let's do it again!. I promise I will have unlimited time next time.

Dooder your a great guide. I was dizzy at one point on the twisty singletracks.

The pics are great too, brings me right back to the smell of those gloves! LOL
