With all the rains this last week we figured our local stomping grounds would be perfect this last Saturday, so out we headed, surely trail conditions would be favorable at The Land of The Lost Volcano filled with buff DG Trails and void of clay, yes my friends, this is the holy grail of singletrack during and after sustained heavy rainfall.

Our brisk morning jaunt began at the giving tree where we would eventually enjoy our post-ride frosties while regaling our victorious shred-fest plundering of the noble and venerable sections in time trial fashion in which we assuredly obliterated our previous PR times that we had previously with delight but lack of malice held over each others heads.

Im doubtful of any future ride will be captured but in a dream, its a shame more enthusiasts couldn't have witnessed this rare occurrence first hand, this is a tale of trail triumph that will go down in history as the most glorious ever.

The blood of the vanquished must have transported you from the volcano a few miles south and sullied the earth there.
