Aside from the BBQ place, I don't think I've ever stopped in Big Pine on the 150+ times I've been thru that area. I always wonder and have to ask, what do people do for work up there?

Son in law works for power plant
in Mammoth. Daughter worked for
a big plumbing company before having
babies. In laws work for City of Bishop.

Wow, your SIL drives to Mammoth every day for work? That could be dicey when 395 gets shuts down. Does he work for that geothermal power plant?

Wow, coverage on Birch (and Kid) mountain looks awesome...I can't wait to get up to the Sierra in April/May for some backcountry skiing.
