The ruts are still there but they won't get much worse. Although I have hidden most of the drainage a few places had to have water bars, actually diversions, what do you think? This is my local trail and I ride up from the bottom serval times a week during the winter months. I just got tired of the ruts continuing to get larger, deeper and rockier.

From the looks of all the tire tracks you better moto-proof them

Are 4x4s still getting down there too or have the tribal fences finally stopped them?

There are now two gates, one a half mile in from the water tanks to stop the shuttling and the other about a quarter of a mile past the helicopter pad if you're peddling in from the bridge. I think those tracks that look like moto tracks were left by some really knobby tires on a bike.

Thanks for doing the trail work! There is a some good digging right now for a change

I'm not too sure how hard it would be to get completed but instead of the diversion you might try to just toss the outside edge down off the trail to create a natural runoff that won't have to be maintained in the future. From the picture you could start from your cut to that closer sticky bush and just lose all that dirt. Easier written than done sometimes....
Thanks again
