Went for a long ride yesterday. Am thankful to be able to ride from home and link various areas; albeit with lots of fire road. Wanted to post but didn't take any pics so here are some clues, in the form of what I was thinking while riding, to piece the route together.

1. Tunnelsesque descent with pavers. Think low.

2. Bobbing and weaving through people setting up for a wedding. Then bobbing and weaving through poison oak for a bit.

3. Sometimes wish I could get some energy from above while going up.

4. This trail really needs to be directional (as in down only).

5. Oh, this is going to suck on the way back.

6. Fireroads. At least they're dirt.

7. Miss the little bump as an alternate way over the drainage.

8. Dabbed at a little rocky section I normally clear easily. Must be getting tired perhaps I'll turn around soon instead of heading up the ridge.

9. It was nice that guy yielded for me. I wonder if I'll catch him after I turn around.

10. Whoop, back wheel came off early. Luckily only God is watching.

11. Chatted with some others, all decked out in NoB kit, while topping of my Camelback.

12. Decided not to go the 'long' way around before a fun rocky descent.

13. Yep, this is as bad as I thought it'd be. Up to the turn aannndd.... off. Off the bike and helmet lashed to Camelbak. F2$5 it's humid! HAB.

14. Off leash dogs. Owner apologizes. No worries I've got dogs too and they love roaming free. This is fun. Slow down dumbass you don't have your helmet on.

15. Slog. HAB. I know this is why all those people were climbing singletrack earlier; still, "sack it up nancies and earn your turns."

16. Yay singletrack. Damned they packed in some trail here. Reminds me of when BMA jacked up the trails at West Mag-more wiggle and less speed. Shut up, you're riding singletrack, no? Yes, yes I am. You've ridden this before and had a blast? Yeah. Narrower bars? Nah.

17. I wonder if these people get annoyed with the traffic behind their homes? Homes take up most of the lots. All in the name of preservation. Love the irony. Not that my home has less of an impact.

18. That fun bit is coming. Ridge run needs more step downs.

19. Wonder how many people actually ride the turns vs taking this straight on? Not many. Drop your foot and turn your hips.

20. Gonna take the short way back. Gotta cross the creek. Hope no one is coming the other way. Oh the shade is nice.

21. Up we go. Watch your pedals aanndd; needle threaded.

22. I really want off my bike. Oh wait I here voices up ahead. Keep going.

23. Oh yeah, pavement rolls smooth and easy. Almost home. Done.

Okay, I'm guessing LPQ with a CamRu start/finish. I'll let someone else puzzle out the trails in between...
