We started out at Cougar Pass
for a Daley Ranch ride.
The weather was great, trails
in good shape, lots of poeple
enjoying the day.
We had a little mutiny about
which route to take mid ride.
we got over that and finished
off with the 3 B's....................

Burnt Mt, Bobcat and BEERS

The Deer Park Monastery is on the west side, way downhill, and the Cougar Pass dirt parking lot for Daley is also on that side. As you're climbing up the loooong hill towards Cougar Ridge, you can see the monastery to the right (south), and there's a connecting trail. Check it out on a satellite map.

Holy sheeeit.. I just perused these pics in a bit more detail and something disturbing caught my eye in one of them. No, that's an understatement; it leapt off the page and nearly knocked me off my chair.

Of course, no one is going to admit to noticing (thank you), and maybe I only noticed because I'm some sort of crazed narcissist, but just in case even one person thought "WTF!!? ", I'm here to tell you the only thing going on is an alarming (ok ok, extremely alarming) trick of shadow and light.

As grateful as my wife might be if it were reality, I have no choice but to admit, it ain't the case. :crying:

"Hey, I'm hung like a hamster..........A 600 POUND HAMSTER!!"

Warning: as already referenced in another thread, what has been seen cannot be unseen....
