This is really good news. Snow Summit had a hell of a time getting a trail built this last summer that was already green lighted but stalled due to the Forrest Service's ever moving target. Now that Mammoth owns them, I am really hopeful we see a vast improvement in the number of trails due to easing regulations and a larger, no, Mammoth sized financial backing.

Right now there are essentially two ways down the mountain that intertwine with each other. Even with one lift running, if you stopped, you would be on the sideline for a while looking for a place to merge with the oncoming traffic. It was nuts!

I am also hopeful that there is a trickle down effect that helps ease some of the CDFW stonewalling. I know I am dreaming but hey, if you don't have hope, what do you have?

Hate to be a downer, but this Bill was signed in 2011. No idea why MBAction is reporting as if it happened today...

Two Republicans and two Democrats put together a worthwhile bill. Who woulda thought?
