One downside to living in OB is that you have to get up way too early for rides like San Juan. So, that was me getting up before sunrise to meet Bjammin at his place at 6:45. Yes, it sucked. But at least traffic was light. I was somewhat tempted to bail because of the early start time, because I was tired from riding yesterday, and also purely for amusement. But I had been wanting to get back to San Juan. We were joined by Ben's freind Dan from OC.

I don't feel much like typing so here are some pics from the ride:

Definitely a great time on the trail. This trail has always been one of my favorites and the price of waking up at the but crack of dawn is worth it when you check out the views.
Cocktail rock was so crowded it looked like a Keg party!

What was the route you guys ended up doing? SJT, Chiquito to the bottom and back up to Viejo Tie, then back to SJT?

I'd normally be jealous, but I squeezed in a Pinyon Flats/Palm Canyon/Art Smith Trail epic yesterday. :domo:

Well, what's with that whole exposure talking? That part didn't look bad at all...

Still no excuse for getting up so early. Blessed are afternoon rides
