The wildfires were just over 2 months ago and the lots of areas burned. One of my local rides was hit pretty hard and the outlook was bleak. With no rain in the foreseeable future, it looked like it would be along time before we would see any type of recovery. I have to hand it to Mother Nature.



I think this happened well before the rain. Not a lot of green but the little rain we miraculously received last week helped. I am also glad that the land managers have learned from previous fires that the land does not need to be shut down for long periods of time after a burn. Look to Los Angeles and the amount of time they had to stay out of the mountains after the fires there.

Life goes on in BMOS.

I rode the moonscape on Saturday and saw the first sign of life, a roadrunner. Glad the snakes are gone
but miss seeing the coyotes and bunnies
