Traveling this week, working in the high desert and then heading to a trade show in Lost wages. I brought the bike along since I noticed open desert next to my hotel. Google showed some nice looking trails across the street from the hotel and a couple of cell towers I could ride out to and back. Well, if you ever find yourself thinking it would be a nice ride just stay in the jacuzzi at the hotel

I found myself plowing through sand washes uphill and it really worked me. Near the top I found a fire road that made things a bit better. It took me about 1:30 to get to the top of the hills and only about 20 minutes to come back. Coming down the sand wash was a blast. Just lay back, keep the front end light, until you hit a sandy whoop...Almost ate crap a couple of times when you hit tire tracks in the sand. Much easier with 250cc under you

Still had a great time and I'm dumb enough to try it again.
