Finally, Kimba and RHS joining jj and myself for a Daley outing. It was a first for JJ and I. Kimba gave a great tour guide with a tour of the Daley highlights, most names I have forgotten already, except Cardiac, which sucked real good. The DH singletrack from there was great and the soil tasty.

Went up the way up from there along what seemed an endless climb, which RHS aptly referred to as the three bitches. Overall there is indeed some real nice riding to be had for those who don't shy away from a nice little climb. Conditions couldn't have been nicer (well, could have done without the slippery ruts...).

Here's some pics of smirks, smiles, scenery and all that was makes DTs great...

Look like you guys had a great time. I wish I could have gone, that would have been a perfect introduction for me to Daley... instead I was stuck here at work, doing nothing but playing on the internet and reading other peoples 'treader reports... fuck.

I'm happy you guys got out there and rode though! Great job!

Andy - what's up for Saturday? You waiting to see just how cold it gets up there??? I think I'd be down if we can find a guide. SQ said he's out because he never paid attention to the trail, he was busy following the guy in front of him. So, if we can't find someone to take us, what do you want to do? I'm totally open all Saturday until the afternoon....

That was a great ride, you guys have no idea how much I was looking forward to riding with ya'll today. Thanks for the ride. I needed to get me some dirt therapy and it was just perfect. I did cramp up a bit on the three bitches but just rubbed it out and all was good.
Kimba's climbing seemed unaffected from his stint at the gimp clinic, couldn't tell he was off the bike for so long. Dirtmonger railed the singletrack with a confidence I have seen grow by leaps and bounds, and JJ The Whale...what can be said about JJ The Whale that we all don't already know, climbs with ease, descends smoothly hugging the turns with his new double bumper, startling hikers with his rebel yell
Trail conditions were awesome, there was traction satisfaction on all turns allowing us to carve Daley like holiday a turkey, weather was crisp and clear.
What a way to spend Christmas eve morning...good friends, good day on an OG Treaders Ride.
Thanks guys.

Had a great time back with the OG DTs! As DM's photos show, we had a nice ride in perfect pre-rain weather. Daley was perfect, aside from a puddle or two. The best part was reconnecting with the group.

Happy holidaze everybody!!

Yep, and they were put to good use on Crest Trail today.
Merry Christmas to all...except those who do not recognize Christmas...in your case, Happy Holidays from the Sloth Clan!

Danger lurks in the dark corners. It can strike any time on the unsuspecting, feeble, weak and inept. Hence I do come prepared. I wear all crap on any ride. I only feel looking pathetic while picking up milk from the local grocer. Well, at least they have relented from alerting the Sherriff when I drop in.

Mind you of the lesser known corollaries of Murphy's law: it is impossible to design anything foolproof. The fools are simply too inventive.

At least I climb the hills... monkey boy.
