In think it would be super hot if it had a Fox Forx and not a yokie. Also it seems that they copied Trek in that the headtube is a 1.5 at the base and tapers to a 1.125 at the top...kinda makes it tough to customize it to your liking. But having said that...I think it its HOT. I would like to real world test ride one.

Regarding the headtube tapering. You can use a Chris King or Cane Creek 1.5 to 1 1/8 bottom and a 1 1/8 top for the headset. Then you can use normal 1 1/8 steerer tube forks.

Super HOT!! I have to agree with the choice of fork though. Marzocchi can suck it. Other than that I'd love to own one.

I'm not hot for it until I could ride it close to it's limits, i.e. 3-5' drops. I've ridden the crap out of my 4.5" RIP for the past year and I think getting a good (read strong) wheelset is key. I'll be upgrading my RIP this winter w/ 20mm TA wheelset and 130mm fork but this will still be my XC/AM bike. That's why I'm also building up a Nomad in the next month because I want something more AM/FR/DH.
