Ok, so... I’ve noticed the mass exodus from estee arr (I'm assuming that's where all you guys came from, right?) as most others I’m sure have. I’m wondering what the hell happened over there? I don’t want to start anything. I just have no idea, and I’m interested to know. Why? I guess because knowledge is power. I’ve only been on “that site” once. That's right, once. I don’t spend a ton of time anywhere but on this website, so I’m really in the dark as to what goes on on other forums. Please don’t take this as anything other that a guy wondering what happened and not knowing any other way to find out than to ask the people in the know…

Thanks guys.

This site is just another MTB forum to add to the list of dozens of others. The other site has a core audience of OC people. A lot of them are very cool. This board has a core audience of SD and the peeps here are also very cool. The big difference between this board and the other is that most of the rides and peeps here as local to SD. We do have reps from OC and RVSD but mostly SD.

With respect to the boom in the membership recently...I only ride in SD and most of my buddies are here. No real point for me to hang out on the other site beyond that. As for the drama everyone has their own tale to tell. But this site is a clean slate for all of us so I think most have buried the hatchet.

I hope we get to meet on the trail sometime.

If you really want the gory details you can get them here.

Somethings have changed there lately... But I still like it and still participate there, there are still many cool people there.

Did I say "there" to many times? :D

I dont want to bash the other forum, because I met a lot of you cool guys there, but one of my criticisms is that the other forum is a bit overly moderated...or moderhated.

Thanks NappyT. I appreciate the honesty. That's what I was looking for. I'll have to read through that post when I get some time...
