-for a living and how it affects your riding.

I figured this would be an appropriate topic since Baja is back to work and I have been so busy as of late that I haven't had the time to ride. I guess I should start.

I am a Power Plant Operator and work in Otay Mesa. (No - It's not my fault when your lights go out  ) My schedule shifts on a 3 week rotation. Throw in "On Call" status 2 of the 3 weeks and once every third weekend. Also, there is always a chance something breaks and everyone has to come in to get the Plant back into an available status. This was the case last weekend when i worked the whole weekend even though I wasn't on call.

It sucks not being able to ride more but, we all have to pay the bills and pay for our toys some how! I guess I'll just keep sneaking in those rides when I get a chance, and most of all just have fun doing it.

Part-time Necromonger, full-time protagonist..well, until someone stirs the pot, then I am consumed with doing and saying things I know will iritate you, and just when you think you've had enough and can't or don't want to take anymore, I kick it up a notch until I am seriously unbearable, at which point you try to make your point as clear as possible thinking I just don't get get it because I must be dense, but I then increase the intensity of my pain-in-the-assedness.
Consuming the flesh of the half dead, surfing sunspots, reading palms, watching Pandas hump, breathing, comparing the different tastes of Moka Java and Italian Roast coffee, anylizing the skeletal girth of the average mountain yack, quoting silly, bizzare and offbeat movie lines...honestly though, I really enjoy picking my nose in public just to see peoples reactions.

And when I'm not doing that....I'm out riding my bike

I am a professional advocate for inanimate objects. This affects my riding because every time I hit a rock, I am one step closer to losing my license.

Currently I am a 'project manager' for a small custom software shop.

Doesn't really affect my riding... If it's crazy busy usually I will take off for a few hours and go for a ride then get back to work.

Not with your avatar I hope.

Is this thread sort of like the first session of an 0n-line 12 step program?

Nope! :P

I did buy some BofA in my IRA a few weeks ago when it dropped, and have made an assload in it. I use mostly ETFs for clients, less risky then individual stocks (thank god).
