nothing wrong with the english in the title. i was just hoping one of my old-time skateboard heroes was making a return to fame on a mountain bike...

Lance had to walk his bike up a hill? On top of that I am very surprised that he didn't win. Is mtn biking that diffrent? I guess so.

Well he hasn't race in a few years and I think some racers rather walk on steep short climbs to save their legs, the guy that won had always walked that section in the las 5 years and won each time.

Thanks for that link Baja!
It's cool to see Lance race a mt bike. Its been several years since I've seen any footage of him racing mt bike. Its a whole different animal, just the spin technique, and the anarobic climbs compared to the aerobic riding thats done road riding.
I think Lance did awesome for not racing a mt bike in so long, but I wouldn't have expected him to win the Leadville race either.
Thanks for posting it Baja.

I thought Lance Mountain was still in the skateboard industry.

I think that if Lance Armstrong really focused on winning Leadville in the way he focused on winning Le Tour, nobody would be able to touch him.

I agree w offroadie. He would smoke them all. I bet he threw the race just so as to not rub it in.
