Some scrawny guy who looks older than dirt, climbing Caballo at Daley yesterday, which would have really sucked if he wasn’t cheating. Which instead made it really fun.

From the Daley Ranch website:

“The Caballo Trail from the staging area to the Sage Trail is in poor condition. Not recommended for equestrians or bicycles at this time.”

Dan, it was good to hang with you for a while last weekend. It is great to see you out riding and enjoying the ride!

I almost bought a Chameleon early this summer. Shoulda pulled the trigger as there are none my size (m) available anymore. Last I looked there was 1 xl available in the whole wide world (multiple websites w/ one listed available all likely 'pointing' to the same bike sitting in a warehouse somewhere)...

I’ve always wanted one.
Found this one on the innerweb.
Almost brand new, it’s a 2020 and
I got it for $2000, would have paid
more.
I’m loving it, it’s my first 29er.

Rode my first quality tech stuff here in town. Definitely a workout going UP but the rock is grippier than even Gooseberry stuff. It was a blast coming down thru the nature made features.

^^^ That second photo is awesome. Is that at the Granite Dells? Reminds me of Joshua Tree, where the quartz monzonite granite has incredible traction. Always wished they would let you ride bikes there.

Bastard!

Took a bit, but my best guess is satellite GOES 14. Took so long because only SUPER nerds track satellites that dim!

I’m too lazy to edit the track out for this image.

Dan...I think it is technically part of the Dells geographically but this small area is known as the Constellation Trails. https://www.mtbproject.com/trail/509422 ... ion-trails

The Dells have their own trail system. I have not ridden there. https://www.trailforks.com/region/granite-dells/
