She passed by on her way back from traversing the volcano. Unlike us, she doesn’t book club. Just turned around to snap our picture and kept moving. |

^^^ The horse dropped that load right in front of me while sniffing my shoes and hydration pack as I sat on the boulder. It was a majestic white steed with a buxom equestrienne astride it bareback. It was into smelling everything, just like a Labrador. She apologized and said that shouldn’t smell too bad because he only eats timothy hay...I was upwind which helped. Her partner was on an old chestnut. We actually talked a long time. I did not know about glue-on rubber shoes for horses. It was gorgeous weather and we ran into a number of especially friendly and talkative folks. Including avidtest and spouse, an old motocrosser thinking about buying a mountain bike, and a number of dog walkers. No rangers. |
