Saw this Hawk hanging out on Saturday. Zoomed in as close as I could.  Oh and Mr Ranger guy today. Again, zoomed in as close as I could.

The start of tonight's ride. 1.7 miles of pure sand suck to start the ride Getting there with more HAB Never thought that I would like to see uphill ST trail but sand sucks Much more to go... I don't know how people like evdog do this stuff. It's just plain freaky riding in the middle of nowhere, by yourself, at night.  Many props to him

After the first push through a sand wash that was a trail at one time it was pretty nice. There were a few ST trails winding down off the top when you finally get up there. The picture was taken at 5PM just before dark and it was lights on after that. Couldn't stop thinking about riders like evdog that just ride into the dark, peddling alone, in remote areas. For me it's a bit uneasy but I was never too far if something happened. During the day right after a rain this trail would be fun coming down. Going up... well you're going up
