We did this ride a couple months back with Singleminded. Have you ever ridden with that guy?! He can climb his arse off!

I started a ride at Sycamore with him ones and that was the last time I ever saw him, he just took off, that guy is fast and his friend Eric(my neighbour) is just as bad.

2 laps gives about 3-4 miles of climbing...
but coming down is soooo sweet!

I'd like to try la Costa sometime, its about a 30 minute drive or so for me north but sounds like a good time, how exactly is the downhill

????

PHONGER-That would be in clairemont, its where the 52 freeway meets the 805, the southwest corner above the freeways though in a mesa. Its next to a middle school called kroc. Some beginner drops I guess, but I've seen people ride into the trails and they look fun I just went there to jump though.

Whenever you guys are ready, I would enjoy to give you a tour...may i suggest a saturday morning, and then we can drive over to Oceanside Ale Works to tip back a pint or two :thumbsup:

Two laps is usually a decent workout. No fret though, because each lap is a different trail, they all just end up at the top of the hill where the kiosk is.
