Last night 4 of 9 riders from the Wednesday night ride received trespassing tickets from San Diego Park Rangers at the top of Tunnel 5. The entrance to the trail with the red painted pipe embedded in it last night also featured an orange traffic cone with a mostly illegible white sign with black letters.

The tickets that were issued are infractions, like traffic tickets. The last time these kind of tickets were being issued a few years ago they were costing around $500.

Keep your ears and eyes open on trails that might be off limits on Del Mar Mesa to Mt. bikers.
