Anyone else have a photo of their first bike? Here’s mine.

It’s a 20” Montgomery Wards Hawthorne. Photo taken in 1961 in Burlington, Iowa. After we moved to Escondido I upgraded the saddle and handlebars to Sting Ray style, after they came out in 1963, and extended the fork to make it a chopper.

this is the best I can do. it's a big wheel in a big flood of '79. I eventually cracked the frame trying to jump it off that porch.

I got a used one for my 10th birthday I believe and it had a $27 price tag on it. This one looks better than mine did same color. I was the youngest of five so I had many bikes to ride until I got mine. My father was a postman and delivered mail on a bike so I think that had something to do with it. I also busted the frame of my bike jumping irrigation ditches kind like doubles premade. I put a cruiser seat on it after wearing out the banana seat when I started delivering papers.

My first bike was similar to tfitz. My second was a Univega Rover Sport

It was very close to this. Not my bike or photo

I will have to go dig up old photos. In the late 1980's my parents bought me a Peugeot BMX bike, it was white.
