So I've been using my bikes to get around town to run errands such as grocery store, book store, go to class or whatever else I need to do in town. I'm trying to get some extra exercise as well as lose weight. The only problem is that with the increased amount of riding I'm starving all the time. It's funny that the more you train the hungrier you get. It makes sense that with more calories burned there is more of a deficit, but with how hungry I always am I don't think I'm burning that many. Any advice?

I had the same problem for the last couple of years. It all come down to calories. What you gotta do is eat less, but eat food that takes longer to digest and makes you feel fuller.

I'm no authority thats for sure. But I know what you mean. Just make sure that you eat more often in smaller meals, with lots of protein and fiber. Your good about the oranges so just keep with that...plenty of fresh fruits and veggies.

Eating a "real" breakfast made all the difference for me. Nothing better than a bowl of good old fashioned oat meal in the AM. It's magical stuff.

Dude, I just started eating outmeal in the morning too. I was like "Why aren't I hungy right now?!" when lunch rolled around.
