ONLY ONE DAY LEFT for public comments on what happens at Veteran's Memorial Park

Speak up for a bike park in Carlsbad!

From SDMBA:

A lot of pro-bike park comments have been submitted but in the last day or so there are many speaking out against any bike amenities in the park.

We all know a bike park is sorely needed in North County!

You do not have to be a resident of Carlsbad to fill out the survey.

Forward this to friends and let's show the City of Carlsbad that we want a bike park and improved trails!

Thank you!

Such a small patch of land to mitigate into multi-use trails. Unless, the open space of land in between the adjacent subdivision can be open to such use. Under current trends of land use change, it wouldn't
be a shocking to see if it all goes CONDO!!!

I have no advocacy or personal interest in this matter.

Of like 400 comments about 10 are against shared use bike paths.... The VAST majority are pro-bike park.

Also about 6 guys wanting a disc golf course... ;-)

It is funny to read the comments, a few very misguided people making claims that Bikes and Walkers cannot co-exist on a multi-use path, claiming this was disastrous in other places...... Complete load of crap. Mult-use trails are extremely successful in many parks and trail systems across this country and the globe. As long as users are courteous and follow the general MUT yield rules there are no conflicts. Sounds like HOH talk to me....
