I thought I had posted some something about this but did a search and didn't see anything so forgive me if I'm repeating myself. I know I posted up on empty beer.

Anyway....GO RIDE HURKEY CREEK!!! Almost everything from pre-fire is back, open and rideable. There is even some new stuff (Lazybonz) and more coming that we unofficially rode today on a reconnaissance mission. We even took Exfoliator out after being told it was open. It needs some love and it's not the Exfoliator of old which is good and bad. It's full of ruts, some big rocks in some places you wish they weren't and you have to pay attention at all times but that made it fun and interesting.

If you have Trailforks, it's easy to tell whats out there including the new stuff that's open. There is NO QUESTION that it's going to be much better than before with well thought out route planning and 100% singletrack. That being said, there are several sandy areas and the area needs more riders to pack things down so go check it out. In MY opinion, it's the best riding we have in SoCal for hardtails to 140mm front suspension bikes. Obviously you can have a blast no matter what you ride but there's not much out there that's going to push enduro bikes.

Not that we saw.... https://www.trailforks.com/trails/tunnel-of-love-trail/

However, we didn't go left at the bottom of Exfoliator to take a look. Maybe I'll check on Saturday.
