I have never done that ride but some Canadian in Moab told me I’d love it what do you guys think?

It's a pretty cool ride but all fire road and doubletrack.

Might be getting toasty right about now so if you go, start at the lowest point and do the climb up Oriflamme first.

Skip the climb Tom - do it as a shuttle and start in Cuyamaca, and have your wife pick you up on S2. You’ll like it more that way!

Some good ideas. I think waiting till next winter when the Canadian Is in town and I’ll be excited for him to show me the ride.

The shuttle Dan mentioned is a good one. It can be done as a singletrack in all seasons under the right covert conditions.
