How many miles of riding do you think you'll do on the 19th? The only route I knew out there was the 29 miles race course so that's the loop we always did but it's been a looooonnnnng time.

Will you convoy out from North County or all just meet up in Lake Morena? Just trying to get my facts straight before I mention it to Team AARP.

Yeah, pretty sure you are the only DirtTreader to ever come out of the closet about wearing Lycra knickers...

Ah good stuff Harley, you are a treasure trove of history and laughs. As for the distance K2rider, it will be the "triple expresso" route outlined above with maybe a variation or 2. I'm guessing it will be about 15 miles.

This is such a classic photo, knickers or not! Is that a young Dave next to you? Are the other two guys DirtTreaders?

Yeah, thats Dave, back when he had hair.
The guy on the right is Keith, we knew him
from the grocery store, he was a beer distributor,
huge beer hook up!
Can't remember the GT guys name, he didn't
ride with us a lot.

I'm guessing that picture was around 1993.

What kind of front brake is that, a horseshoe?

Cantilever, pre V brakes.
The horseshoe was to make
the fork stiffer.

It's on, leaving North County by 7, riding by 9 from the bottom of Kearnan.

Post up or PM if you are planning on going so we know. Thanks.
