SART is indeed scenic (though a totally different perspective than BLT) and I've never seen a snake up there but it couldn't be more different otherwise. There's a lot of exposure on SART. You won't die if you fall but there is plenty of opportunities to go off the trail on the side of the hill. SART is also more work...which of course also equates to a better workout. :thumbsup:

This is really helpful! Not sure if this meets the OP request, but it sure meets mine! I'm not afraid of a big climb to find some good riding, so I'll definitely move this up on the list to plan a long loop and get in a good ride. Lake Morena is on that list first, although given the chance for a solid 5-hour day, I may head back to the BLT and Nobel Canyon again. It's only about 50 minutes away for me, and those rides have been highlights around here, for sure.
