Stopped by there about 10 this morning.

Saw Skyler there.

He doing good, a little

I suspect stock was pretty limited going into the sale. I was there only to look for energy food for cHeap and a new bottle cage. I left happy.

Got some lube, brake fluid, shifter cables.

There was more inventory now compared to about 2 months ago. Or at least I thought.

Isn't it a bit ironic that they have great sales when they are going out of business? Too bad business wasn't like that while they WERE in business :?

You ain't kidding Dirtrider. Not only did they not have sale prices but their prices were always full MSRP or at the very minimum, the highest I've ever seen for the items I buy frequently. In todays world, I don't expect that any bike shop can stay in business doing that...unless they're in a small town with no competition at all.

The used market on nice bikes for great deals is really good. Companies doing direct sales is going to drive prices down as well. Small shops have a large online competition which, a lot of times, comes with free shipping. I think consumable items, bike maintenance, and touch point products are really where a shop has the best chance at survival with lower inventory risk.
