I listened to the City Counsel meeting on the interweb.
I got a few things out of it.

The Trail Management the City talks about are
not the same trails we know. Most of their trails
are 6 ft. gravel, or sidewalks. There are a few
"singletrack", but not many.

The Counsel is excited about the "pilot program"
of the Rangers doing enforcement.

Diane Nygard of Preserve Calaveras was very PC
when she described our MTB trails as "trails trashed
by unplanned use."
She also said the reserve was the poster child for Fish
and Game as not what to do, pretend it's closed to the
public and do nothing.

What trail is that?
Never mind, I figured it out.

Did you email it to SDMBA?

So trees cut down and jumps leveled. Without the trees it looks much sparser out there.

By cutting down all the trees they lost a great hiding place for them to pop out and grab ya like at Tunnels.

This is a text book example how CDFG talks a big game about the need to save these spaces and then proceeds to destroy it, make it look like shit, and then close it all off for everyone's better good. Just imagine how nice it could be if, with great self control :o , we were able to maintain the trails openly for all to enjoy

By the way, there are DFW signs in that area that say "Trail closed." I also noticed some red ones saying the same thing by the k-rail. I have emailed SMBDA.

Couldn't tell where this is but a little bit of water like rain and natural compaction, that'd be a cool mini hip jump to the left to setup for what looks like a pretty decent shaped kicker at the end.

We're riding up north around my hood tomorrow at 7am. Slow (Nancy and Roger -for those who are now familiar) and chill pace. Come join if you don't want to deal with all these shit at Cala and before you fuckers from San Diego crowd our trails here and fuck us over too. LOL.

It was the water tower. It looked like some sort of tour
of the water tower. There were another four or five cars
parked at the end of Cannon at the open gate.
I don't think it was any sort of enforcement. We saw
the Carlsbad PD ranger at the lake doing his normal little walk.

Did I mention, we found a beer!
