It's a 160mm 29er from Marin called the Wolf Ridge.

It's cool to see new ideas that may actually work, even if they're based on older ones. Here's a small write-up from Bike Mag with some initial thoughts based on 2-hours of riding.

It appears that Polygon was actually first to market with this new design. It's not exactly pretty, but it is 27.5 (and 180mm!! :shock: )

My biggest concern would be how extremely squared off the bb area is. It extends a good 2-3" from the chainring.

One of the reviewers mentioned rock strikes because of that during compression, but that adjusting the air pressure mostly fixed it.

That Marin is pretty ugly, Polygon a bit better. But if it works as advertised I can forgive that.

Will be interesting to see who else licenses this design. Not sure I'm willing to guinea pig it, but looks promising!
