Well, I was all set to go see the Norco Sight on Sunday, but he texted me on Saturday saying he'd just sold it. Bummer since I would've gone on Saturday but he said he wasn't available until Sunday. I guess someone bought it "sight-unseen" (yeah, pun intended).

The Rune is still an option, I just haven't had the chance to go see it. I've found plenty of other options if I'm willing to drive up to Canada. I'm just not ready to do the whole paypal-the-money and ship the bike without seeing or riding it first.

And we're moving into a house in 3 weeks, so my bike budget is competing with mama's furniture budget.

Not to mention that I really should get a decent commuter bike first, so I can start working on this new-found gut that I've grown over the winter. But that's not as much fun as a new (or new-to-me) MTB.

I love the Inline rear shock that I have on my Pivot Mach 6. I think it's the best shock I've owned but like many, many others, it's had it share of issues. Luckily for me, Cane Creek sent me new shocks on both of my failures. If yours does fail, make sure to call them because they have a new design that they are selling at discount for those looking to upgrade.

Well what frame did you get?

I traded a friend for a rebuilt inline that didn't fit his frame and came rebuilt by CC after all their problems. Worked awesome for me for about a year and about 1500 miles. I need to send it for a rebuild soon.

Here it is - 2015 Norco Sight C7.1

The seller was pretty finicky, he's already had the CCDB Inline completely rebuilt with the new internals.

Can't wait to get it out on the trails, but we're moving this weekend and probably next weekend so I may have to settle for just looking at it for a few weeks.

Congratulations! That is a schweet bike. I was hoping you'd remember to put it on the couch. Nice photos nevertheless.

That is sweeeeeeet, Chuck. The Horst link-style rear ends are still the best, IMO.

Yeh, I guess I've got to start looking for some orange pedals! I don't know what the seller had on there before - he was selling it without pedals , but when I came to look at it he threw on some old ones from his parts bin so I could give it a test ride. When I took the bike he said I could keep 'em.
