I was wondering how people post pictures on DT, aside from Photobucket. I have used Photobucket for years for this purpose but Photobucket has gotten so filled with junk and ads I do not want to use it anymore.

I'm old school plus I want to save most of my pics. I take them with my phone, email them to myself, save to the HD, then upload to DT, post them up, rinse and repeat.

I still use photo bucket. I can load pics from phone using the app, which is nice and easy. They seem to make changes to the way it works every so often some of which make it a pain to use. But I have so many pics there now I'll probably keep using it as I'd like to keep them in one place.

I've used flickr. But it's owned by Yahoo who has f***ed up the interface so badly that it's almost impossible to pull out the embed codes to post a picture here. It takes me about 10 tries every time.

I just use the app to upload pics from my phone. That is very easy. Most of the time to post pics to the forum I still log in on my computer. The app just saves you the effort of emailing pics to yourself or using a cable or memory card to transfer them.

I know a good many on this board don't like FaceBook but I've linked from that and it has worked quite well.

I havent tried a FB link in a while. I see you did it with that broken frame pic. What did you do in FB to copy that FB link? I'm not seeing it.

Edit: I just discovered at least I can now post full size using IMG method directly from my iPhone. Previously I could only use the attachment method.

For doing the FB link, all I do is right-click the image and select "Copy link address" in the pop-up menu. I'm using a Chrome browser. This may vary depending on the web browser you're using.
