As I was driving through Baker early this morning to rejoin my wife and family in Vegas enroute to Sedona for our bike getaway, I texted my wife about a grave news.
"F*ck!! Sorry sweetie, I forgot to pack up your bike in haste."
4 hours later, upon arrival, I asked my wife to help me unload some of boxes from my truck...
Then to her surprise, boom!!!

Merry Christmas, my pedal-assist loving wife.

Post what you got (or gave) for Christmas here. Has to be bike related (beer is very bike related)

Yes, this does pale in comparison (by at least a couple orders of magnitude) compared to a new bike, but here is the first result of the cheese making book I received for Christmas. Some fresh warm mozzarella prior to being plated w/ fresh basil, olive oil, salt, pepper and cherry tomatoes.

I like shuffling around the kitchen though, so I'm pretty happy about it.

Deng, yum. I'd skip the cherry tomatoes for a meaty Roma and douse some of the fancy balsamic vinegar aged for 18 years that we bought from the weird town of Sedona with a tiny drip of roasted sesame seed oil over that cheese. Hmmm.

Oh yea, I did not photoshop this.

Oh yeah, for Christmas, I got me a brand new Mavic Crossmax endubro pair of clipless shoes. Hell yea. That's my 5th pair in the shelf. I have a shoe and watch fetish.

Meanwhile, I'm so still in this state of mind as I typed this.
