They are coming, fast. Last weekend we were literally swarmed by 8 dudes on Specialized ebikes at the Poway pad. Tried to have an open mind but they were talking about which trail to take based on how much battery they had left!

I've said from day one that the real issue with ebikes is that one they are "acceptable", it's going to be a free for all as to what we see out there. To the casual rider, a bike is a bike is a bike. The Class 1 bikes will be legal first but people will then be riding every manner of "bike". I already see it every time we ride Palm Canyon. At first it was just one guy and on the last trip there were 4, including two which were Class 3....and not legal anywhere but the street.
