Oh no, not me.
This is my rationale for not putting on a dorky bell. My rear hub and I are loud and proud. :)

itards are annoying. Doesn't matter if they're walking, running, biking or even cute.

Speakers? Don't care. It's not as though you hear it for more than a few seconds in passing. Went on a ride up at Aliso, organized on DT several years ago, and one of the guys was playing Bob Marley over speakers during the ride. Even as part of the group, one couldn't hear it except when climbing and it kinda made the misery fade away. Ya'll are crotchety or f'in hippies and should be hiking/horsey riding, so you can hear the flutter of birds wings, not mtbing if it bothers you.

Now singing out loud that's just not right. Was climbing somewhere on the Mesa recently and passed a couple of guys who were fit (kept catching up on the straights) but whose switchback fu was lacking. One of them was talking loudly then singing badly. I wanted to tell him to STFU; but just sped up.

I need to go for a ride.

Bike(s): Yes
Favorite Trails: crooked & winding...
My wife once quoted Mel Brooks as I made a disparaging comment about someone: "We mock the thing we are to be."

So there I was riding singletrack on Tuesday afternoon, and my grandson asks if he can put the phone speaker on in his Camelbak...and I said "yes". He put on Chronixx and we rode to reggae the rest of the ride...I kinda liked it.

WTF is next...maybe I'll have an electric bike someday. (No, no, no...!)
