Not too late to get to the this Fall's 2016 Outerbike in Moab either....http://www.outerbike.com/fall-moab/

If you've never been to one of these festivals. I highly encourage you to check them out. It pretty cool to ride, hang out and talk shop with a few hundred like minded people. Even if you have no desire to demo bikes, you can take in the festival itself with live bands, beer gardens and cool special events they have. each day there are also options to go out on guided rides to check out new ares/trails. Surprisingly, since there are so many trails and people are so spread out, crowded trails are not an issue. Calaveras, Daley or Hodges on a Saturday morning is much worse.

If you willing to make the drive of 12-13 hours, I highly recommend the Fruita Festival. It's very well done with events every day, an great vendor area and pretty much every manufacturer shows up at this one. It's also nice to have the "big" city of Grand Junction right next door for literally anything you might need... including a decent supply of lodging on VRBO if you don't want to stay in a cheesy hotel or camp. If there's any downside, it's the fact that there are too many trails to knock out in such a short period of time.
