The picture was taken at the base of the Volcano main climb. What kinds of tire treads do you see?

I got lost behind a pack of riders once because I'm old and slow and suck at riding. When I got to a turn, I wasn't sure which way they went. I looked at the tire tracks. Knowing that one guy was running small-block 8's I was able to pick those distinctive tiny knobs out of the sea of knob tracks to determine which way they went and eventually caught up with them. Tracking-level: Tenderfoot.

Maxxis Ardents (okay doesn't count because those are my tracks); Maxxis High Rollers; Shcwalbe Hans Dampfs; Velociraptor rear tire. That's all I got.

In taking a closer, more detailed look at the tracks I came up with the following:

1.Maxxis Minion DHR II 2.5 running at around 29 PSI
2.Maxxis Ardent 2.3 both front and rear close to 35 PSI
3.Schwalbe Hans Dampf 27.5 front in Pace Star compound
4.Maxxis Ardent Race 3C Exo 29 at 39 PSI (racer stravahole prolly)
5.Kenda Nevegal - all 26" so those don't count anymore..
6.Continental Trail King running around 18 PSI (pump dat bitch up sir)
7.Specialized Butcher Control both front & rear in two sets

The overall observation is we need more trails, less tires, and just get out and ride more
If you believe any of the above you might need another beer too :drunk:
