Mt Elden is where I want to go. I've been mostly watching short vids on instagram. But here's a video from 2012.

If my biker hauler gets out of the shop I'll be riding Prescott Saturday then head to Sedona until Tuesday  :domo: :ninja:

What trail are you riding in Prescott? We did the BCT last year since we got snowed out in Sedona.

Too bad you're going next week but I'll be out there from Saturday afternoon until Tuesday at noon, then headed back home. You can tag along if you want and like riding with a slow old fart and a couple of College kids.
If you ride out there, first stop at Bike and Bean and pick up their map. It's really good and most all the trails are well marked. They can give you some loops based on your skill level. I wouldn't hesitate at all riding there by myself, just remember to not ride over your head since you have to rely on yourself to get home. Trailforks is good too but not as good as their map in my opinion. I saw that you posted up in the AZ forum so someone might help you out. Remember that you'll be the "new guy on the ride" so obey all those rules
Go for it and have fun!

Thanks everyone for the input! Haha yeah new guy always brings (good) beer!

And I'd love to tag along but will have my kids over the weekend, have to drop them off at school Tuesday morning and then will be free for the week. Still flip flopping on whether or not to go - leaning toward what the heck go for it though

Heck ya, just do it. You have no one to hold you back so you can do whatever you want.
Enjoy and bring that cold (good) beer for proper hydration.

We rode about 20 miles in Prescott today and the altitude was kicking my butt. In the center of PV they had a full on Moto race    Pulled over in the Walmart parking to check them out. What a friggin city Prescott/ PV is :bang:
Drove over to Sedona and rode another 1 1/2 hours before hitting the Jacuzzi.
The weather in Sedona should be about 82 and warming up later in the week. Riding here is a workout so be careful and bring lots of water with you

So it turns out I'm not going. I called a mortgage dude wed morning looking into a refi on the house, now I'm waiting on a call to schedule the appraisal and not sure when it's going to happen so will stick around 'till that's done.

Will do a bunch of local day trip rides instead, maybe I'll actually make it to calavera one day lol

Refi's can be done any time right now. Sedona has a small window to hit the red rocks

haha I'm very very anxious to get my refi. done though. Told myself I was allowed to buy a new bike after it's done. Cool trip up to the nursery trails today, so I'm still getting new dirt in
