Been doing some shopping and research to find and convince my Dad he needs to replace his old ProFlex.

Well, today I swung by Ride while Rocky Mountain was there with their Demo fleet. I had never really noticed Rocky Mountain, except the rep that leads the Friday ride, that's until I came across the new Pipeline the other day. Took it out for a ride, the only downside I would say is with the big tires it's a little slow, just from the width. But it goes up any trail pretty easily and when you point it downhill, foget a boutit, just point and go, just point down and go, don't worry where you point it, cause it rolls over everything, and what might be a little bigger than maybe you should the 150mm up front just soaks it up.

So now to convince me Dad to pick one up. Although, based on comments in the second link I gotta try a Santa Cruz High tower 27.5+, but the low end Hightower is outside the budget range.

Oh and anyone else that wants to try it out they will be at North of the Border tomorrow (Sat 5/14) from about 10-3ish.
