Went out to Daley today to shake things up and was surprised that the lot wasn't full at 8:30 am. Really good conditions overall out there with the recent rains BUT the ruts are more plentiful and deeper on what seem like every trail out there *except* Cardiac. The climb up was the easiest I can ever remember as somebody (staff? SDMBA?) has done what looks like some major grading on the second half of the first climb. All of the ruts have been smoothed over and since I usually only clean this 1 out of every 3-4 times, I wasn't complaining today. I'm usually one of those (like most on here) that don't like people making things easier but Cardiac has always been a PITA and I wish somebody could get approval to make a nice climbing singletrack like over by Sage Creek HS at Calavera.

Anyway, totally worth your time after tonights rain dries out. If el nino comes as expected this Winter, it's going to be ugly out there next summer.

Now THAT is an outstanding idea. Unlikely, but what an improvement it would be.
