It's not often you see a 36 TALAS compressed all the way. If you pause the video just right, you can see it.

It looks like his knee was hurting a little too.

I'm calling it a successful jump and landing, with a really bad bit of trail riding immediatly afterwards. :D The WTF came from me not really looking at the landing closely before jumping. I have done that jump before but did not take notice of a rut that had developed after the rain and was just chilling there in the shade. If I had I would have made more of an effort to not to go as far left as I did. I really thought I was just going to scrap the bushes a bit and keep on riding.

Yep, that's going to go into a bigger project I'm working on for that trail. I'm going to collect up footage from 6-10 visits there before making the vid. You'll just have to wait. :D

Yep got a full 160mm out that bad boy. I got a scrap on the my thigh just above the pads. The next day I was a little stiff, but my right shoulder that was the most tweaked as I aggravited an old injury a bit. I was able to ride the Los Pinos Trail so all was good.

Glad you're OK Bill. That looked gnarly!! I could be wrong, but it looks like the Full Face came in handy. It looked like the visor was tweaked.

It's Karma, Bitch.

You keep pulling stunts like you did on yesterday's Los Pinos ride...and it'll happen again.

I think that 10lbs of camera gear on your helmet made your head snap on landing and you couldn't see the bush as your helmet was covering your eyes.

Glad your OK, you got to want it though to hit all that stuff out there.

Leave the Taco's for Manana

Man, I wish I had video rolling for the Los Pinos Ride yesterday. For the rest of you the stunt that Aqua is referring to needs a little explaining. That ride has a bunch of Hike A Bike sections. Of course Mr Aqua here had to keep showing off his climbing skills with the SS circus bike by zipping by us on the the HAB sections until he was 3-10 feet past us. Now to do this kind of stuff on a SS requires a lot of speed at the bottom and a whole lot of pedal mashing to keep it going. Well, it was impressive the first three times he did that. The second three times it was just showing off. After that it was mentally abusive to the rest of us. So somewhere around the ninth HAB as Aqua come hammering of the hill to once again throw down a bit of non-verbal smacktalking, I reached out and grabbed big handful of Aqua's brake lever. Boy did he stop quick :D It was SWEEEET! A really good laugh was had by at least me :D You know for some reason Aqua just seemed to stay ahead of me or stop right behind me on all the rest of the HABs. Hmmmmmm :?

It seems as though SS's were just conjured up to throw it in right in the face of the rest of us. Especially popular among the 5' 2'' crowd, female in particular. Gender adds to the in-your-face-factor. Nevertheless, signleminded did an outstanding job in this regard already on the BLT ride as I remember. I am coming to terms with it though. At least the female crowd is fun to watch - for as long that they remain in sight...

I'm havin' fun the way I ride. The rest of y'all can kiss it.
