LaCosta - Elfin "Twin Peaks" ride: Dec 19 or later

My dear DTs. I'd like to link two of my local favorites and would like to see if there is any interest in doing this. I'll be off from Dec 19 on and would like to get on my bike. I'm thinking about putting a shuttled ride together: starting from LC (1 loop?) heading over to Elfin forrest and back via shuttle. Would there be any interest? A knowledgeable guide or someone willing to do the route planning with me would be desirable.

DM....I will be off work the 24th-28th and the 31st-4th and will be looking to get in some longer distance rides. I have ridden from La Costa to Elfin twice so I can show you the way. Being ready for some grinding climbs on fire road and pavement. The adventure of making the connection is fun, but the riding is very underwhelming. Let's talk more as vacation time gets closer.

Noble would be much more fun and I would be down for that. Could hit up BLT and then drop Noble and shuttle back or due the full tour if where in the mood to climb.

A Noble shuttle? I think that's on my honey-do-list (or was it the honey-don't-list?). Yest, I think that would be something I'd like to do, especially if we can round up a gang. It wouldn't have to be an either or. I live right between Elfin and LC, so I can do that ride any time....

So would that put you as a country dweller in Questhaven, or living in the Potemkin village with the Stepford wives? (Every time I drive past the Village Green and Old Schoolhouse Road, I look over my shoulder for that bubble to come rolling along and keep me from escaping...) Either way, you're located really close to the trails, so that's good...
