The snakes are definitely out there. I ran into a good sized rattler today as well but he slithered into the bushes before I could get a pic. Just a little further up the trail I ran into that baby gopher snake I posted.

Last day here. Awoke to a couple toucans hanging out in the early dawn light while sipping on coffee. And later, after at least 40 sightings over the last few days, I finally got a reasonable pic (still not great though) of one scarlet macaw.
