OK, so I have been meaning to do this for quite sometime and just got around to it. And, I admit it's a little ridiculous:

I've been buying them for over 4 years now. Every time I see a pair I like I buy them. I got a lot of them from an Ebay seller that used to sell them brand new for $2 a pair.

There's 79 in the pic, my wife just brought in 9 more pairs fresh out of the laundry and I have about 6-7 pairs at my parent's house. I figured it was around 40-50, but this count of at least 95 even surprised me a little. I guess now I can just shoot for 100??

How the fuck do you not loose one of the pair? The odds of having 79 pair over a 4 year accumulation are off the charts. You should play the lotto.

I have about 12 socks that are orphaned...

Well, with so many pairs, they all don't get worn that often. I actually stopped wearing "regular" socks quite some time ago. Now I only wear "cycling" socks. They fit better, breathe better and don't get stretched out.

It's actually kind of crazy that I still have all the pairs intact. I didn't think about the odds of that.

OK, I used the word "excessive", not "obsessive", though your word is probably more accurate. :lol:

Edit: Edited first post. My wife just brought in 9 pairs fresh out of the laundry, so now I'm looking at about 95 pairs. Wow. :oops:

About 20-25. That includes long sleeved jerseys too. But in my defense, I do work at a bike shop and when you can get a $30-$40 jersey for $10, things happen.
