Never heard of it but now that you've let the cat out of the bag, you have to share what the trail holds. 8)

a guy i work with rides his cyclecross bike on mother grundy. lucky six looks like it can be accessed off of 94.

i was gonna throw my bike in the back of my truck about 1pm today and drive out there and see what i see.

he wanted me to just check out the fireroad for connecting to mgtt. so that's really all i am doing. but if i see something fun i will play on it.

A quick Google search pulled up this, some guy's personal site with some background. It looks nice out there.

total bust!! like soo many things in east county, what looks good on google earth/maps is NOT good in real life.

a little before you could connect lstt with mgtt some freak show has built TWO gates across the truck trail and put up a trail clossed sign and a bunhc of weird crap built all around it. defi sketchy.

oh well.... at least now i know and dont have to wonder.

i know there is something of otay peak too, just need to find it as well....

We used to boulder off Mother Grundy in the '80's but it got closed. Never heard of Lucky 6, but just googled the Lucky 6 stables there, named after an historic cattle company. I knew for years about the Lucky 5 ranch off Sunrise Hwy, though. Probably some connection. That one may become public in the future with trail possibilities if we're "lucky". Definitely off limits now.
