Plan is to hit it early, be back in time for the US/Canada hockey game.

Start in Cuyamaca, either loop there and drop down to AB and come out Oriflamme or drop down to AB first, come out Oriflamme and then loop cuyamaca.

Route is still up in the air. Wheels rollin at 7am, ride til 12-12:30 with minimal breaks (random regroups, pee breaks, snack attacks).

It will probably be cold, it will probably be a bit miserable but it will be fun!

A pack with water and food will probably be needed due to the lack of available facilities.

I was also thinking of going out there this weekend if it doesn't rain. Have you guys ever ridden the Banner toll road section from Rodriguez Canyon to Julian? If not, would it make sense to do it as a P2P starting at **** Monument, around 3 canyons, and ending inJulian?

I'm fairly sure we've never met, if we have you'd realize that I tend to lose my way fairly easily.

I'm down for whatever route. I'd just like to try and ride as much as the JDM route as possible and loop things. More riding, less driving. (even if this means some MTB on asphalt)

Weather may also play a part in the route but the weekend forecast looks decent for Julian.

Due to pending weather, one guy who has family commitments and the like and another who is a broke-dick (sorry dude, I seriously am bummed for you, wrong time of the year for injuries), this ride is being delayed.

Brian, J.A.M., if you guys are interested lets try and put something together without rain/snow/mud

Just kidding man. I shoulda figured you'd get enough broke-dick comments at work, I just don't get to use that saying often anymore.

Heal up. Take it easy so you can get in shape for the dirty kanza.

If you want, you can borrow my spin bike.
