This is my first ride post, so let me know if I leave anything out. I'm heading out to Hurkey Creek to ride the Idyllwild Spring Challenge sport course:

Weather will be great:

I plan on leaving Chula Vista by 8AM at the latest, and get to Hurkey Creek campground by 10AM at the very latest. I could leave earlier depending on interest, carpooling, etc. The ride should take between 2-3 hours depending on the group. So far I have invited a few guys that don't frequent this board and I'm waiting on them to see if they want to carpool. I'm going either way even if I go alone.

Well there seems to be no interest in doing this ride, maybe because of the Cuyamaca Poker ride. I may just end up doing Otay Mountain to the Bandit Trail. I've climbed Otay before, but never did the Bandit Trail. Does anyone know if it's well established or difficult to find? I found a route on geoladders: http://www.geoladders.com/show_route.php?route=18702

Is this route accurate?

Sorry there's not much interest. I would be down if not for the poker ride. That Geoladders route is mine, and it's not hard to find the trailhead for the Bandit. have a good time and say hi to the Border Patrol guys.
