Will be riding San Juan this Friday as I have it off. Gotta love three day work weeks. Plan on going to Cocktail Rock, Bluejay and whatever else seems fun. Should be a good time. Earliest I could be there is around 0800.

Eric, I promise this will continue when you get back. Next on the agenda is up Holy Jim to Santiago Peak then back down and over to Trabuco Trail via Main Divide. Honestly, that's what I wanted to do this Friday but SJT is calling me.

I'm starting to feel the same. Two epics in one week? Sheesh. I should have never gotten off the government's teat.

That is an awesome route, will be in no shape for that for a few weeks.

More likely, I would be in Afghanistan...... for the 3rd or 4th time. So you're right, ride while you can.
Back on topic, a couple of us may be up there for a San Juan/Chiquito ride next Thursday if you can swing that day off too.

^I buy it at Costco.

Are you going to do a ride when normal people can make it?

I think it's like 20 miles or so with around 4000ft of climbing. Probably around 3.5-4 hours with breaks and picture time.

OK looks like Kimba and I will join if a couple planets align.

We will need to roll at 7 though. Just catch up to us. reason is a mandatory departure no later than 11. We can split up if need be.

Will know for sure later or 1st thing am (5am)

I can't leave SD until 0600 as that is when I drop my kid off at school. Hence the 0800 start time. We might not see each other as you wil have a whole hour head start.
